Weird Fusions
In the course of Dragonball, there have been many instances where two warriors have had to fuse to defeat a powerful opponent. This section is dedicated the the fusions that didn't turn out as planned, or involve two people that are complete opposites of each other (Mr. Satan and Goku, anyone?). All of these are either in the manga or the daizenshus...and I swear on Chris Sabat's life that we made none of this up... ^_-
Any slight errors in the fusion dance can cause defects in the
fused form. Fat and Thin Gogeta are the results of one misplaced hand or one
wrong step.
Fat and Thin Gotenks
Once again, clumsiness in the fusion dance renders the fused
form weaker than the two warriors uncombined.
Denderotto and Mr. Kakarottan
Near the end of the Buu saga, Goku is left on Earth holding the Potara earrings, and having only a few people to fuse with. He considers Dende, Mr. Satan, and even his own son, Gohan (Not shown). Contemplating each fusion and their strengths/weaknesses, he is saved from making a stupid decision when Vegeta returns from heaven.
And the weirdest of them all...Piririn...
What do you get when you combine the short, nose-less, bald Kuririn with the giant, green, pointy-eared Piccolo? Why you get Piririn, of course. Piccolo and Kuririn display the fusion dance for Goten and Trunks during the Buu saga...and Toriyama takes it a step further in this small comic.
